Showing great with 10 years age. Elegant and slightly earthy.

A delicious wine with terrific precision. Cherries and raspberries in abundance, the translucency is deceiving as there's power here. Light bodied but intense.

2011 vintage. So much tannin that it obscured the rest of the wine. Can only hope some time tames it.

I love this wine - reputedly the most Burgundian wine outside of Burgundy (whatever that means) - lovely restrained fruit with unusual sappy character & chalk/mineral (?volcanic rock from Mt Etna) - a delightful curiosity!
