Don Anselmo Aglianico del Vulture

Dried, desiccated fruit. Juicy but not fruity. Fig, carob, baking chocolate. Dusty. Substantial VA on the nose makes you work for it. For Musar lovers.

Very strong Aglianico. I would give this wine another five years. Better after an hour. This is a very acidic wine. Some nice deep, dark fruit and earth followed by intense acid.
