Very elegant and lively Chardonnay. Fresh and crystalline. Ripe Granny Smith, crystallized ginger, lemon tart, all with a dollop of whipped cream on top. Palate is energetic and acid-driven with plenty of tart fruit. Long generous finish.

2011. High up the Sonoma Coast. I liked their earlier Chards more ' bone dry and minerally. But this, and their other whites, is still an outstanding CA white.
