Fruity nose with light intensity and blackberries, blueberries, sweet cherries, oak, licorice, bell pepper, Mediterranean spices, chocolate, tobacco, light tumeric, metals and light green herbs.
Full-bodied and smooth with medium Plus acidity and great long, thin legs.
Bone dry on the palate with blackberries, cherries, plums, raspberries, wood, red currants, vanilla, forest floor, earth, tobacco, mint, eucalyptus and peppercorn.
Medium plus in length on the finish, with extremely soft tannins and black pepper.
This is a nice red blend from Washington State. Drinking very nicely now, smooth and elegant with some complexity. Did not take too long to open up.
Enjoyable by itself or with food, like chicken or pork dishes.
I paired it with Parmesan cheese and crackers.
13.7% alcohol by volume.
