Pours sangria in color. ON THE NOSE: licorice, menthol and smoke. ON THE PALATE: plum and not much else. Did open up a bit after a few hours but not much here at all a slight reductive taste on palate and a very short finish even a hint of sweetness

2013. Wish this was under cork rather than screw cap. Reductive stink makes me wonder what it could have been. It opens nice. This was much better the second day.

A lighter red with compelling licorice/smoke/spice on the nose. On the palate is mostly plum and ripe cherry, maybe raspberry, but falls flat. Deep ruby color and quite bright; a good value, but doesn't bring me back to the glass.

A lovely medium ruby Ripe strawberry and deep raspberry, lip gloss, whiff of smoke. Tasting brings bright cherry strawberry and an astringentish Brett note I didn't find on the nose I'm going to score this wine higher solely because of how tasteful and subtle the Brett is here. Part 2 of dragging Alex into wine. -light reds without much tannin-
