Lean red berries, flowers, crunchy yet delicious and quite dialed back than the Blanc de Blanc IMHO. Finish is beautiful. I still prefer the Blanc de Blanc Belle Époque to this.

Wanted my 200th Delectable French wine to be special. Belle Époque Rose Magnum. Stellar. What may have been left in the cellar to age on the lees for 10 years, the autolytic tones running through this are out of control, paired with the fresh red fruits from the dosage... very happy!

Old gold , orange rind colour , quite a lot of bubbles still . Quite mature nose with roasted walnuts , some herbal , porcini , coffee tinged notes , hints of red currant . On the palate this also shows quite a bit of age with roasted nuts , some lightly herbal notes , honey , balanced acidity . A little short and simple on the finish , hints of orange rind and dried rose . This needs to be drunk over the next few years , don’t see this improving .
