Belle Epoque Rosé Brut Champagne Blend

This threw me for a loop.
On opening it was a huge disappointment. Very closed up and not resembling Champagne in any way.
I thought it possibly was related to heat damage (didn’t get a chance to examine the cork).
Fast forward 48 hours - after being left open in the fridge and destined for cooking-wine it has gained so much energy and verve that it begs for another chance.
NR based on this bottle as I’ll need to re-visit.

Orange hue. Poached pears & strawberries. Rich, full bodied, balanced by acidity. Clean finish with savory notes. Drink now.

This is a breakfast tradition Mrs E demands in our household every year that we adore to start Christmas 😍
Perrier Jouet Belle Époque Rose 06 with Balik Gravlax, Caviar, Mr Es scrambled eggs with cream, milk & butter, Balik dill mustard sauce, red onion & wholeneal toast - just heaven 😍
No detailed review of Belle Époque Rose 06 but it went perfectly & id give a solid 95-96 points to 😉

Always love their hand painted bottles & a cracking drop of pink bubble porn in a glass ❤️ but getting too expensive @ £140-£230 (avg £165) 😱 a lovely treat 😊
