Pieropan
Soave Classico Garganega
La Rocca, made from 100% Garganega and aged for 15 months in large barrels. Bright lemon yellow with aromas of tropical fruits and oak notes, very rich and complex. On the palate apple, pear and orange zest with nutty flavors and lively acidity. Smooth and elegant the wine ends with oak, mineral notes and a bit of spice. Nice! Tasting Sample.

Nov 28th, 2019This vintage seems particularly vibrant and electric right now. Tart pear, white peach, lemon curd, honeydew melon and crushed rocks overlaying a texture that is both delicate and saturating on the palate. Lots of savory spice and almond character on the long finish. Highly recommended.

Oct 7th, 2020Like kumquats dipped in salt water - a refreshing mix of citrus, acidity and salinity. We had it with a lemony, tarragon lobster salad and it matched each ingredient perfectly.
