Pierre Cotton
Côte de Brouilly Gamay

Drinking nicely. Little heavy/rich little hot but besides that a very enjoyable Beaujolais

One of my favourite young producers in Beaujolais. First tasted at AT in Paris and I scrambled to call my importer friend to work with Pierre. So glad I did - now it's ever simpler to get bottles 😜
Fine detailed, fresh, complex. Bright blackberry and red cherry fruit, set against a backdrop of meat and spice. There's a really elegant granitic element here. It's so good, but the single vineyard Les Grilles just a step up in depth and concentration.
