Fragrant as a top quality Côte Rotie. Concentration & freshness. Farmed on the east facing granite slopes in the central part of the appellation. One to remember!

So sad this is my last bottle - fantastic, early secondary characteristics

Violets violets violets. Great texture. Mmm

Decanted 60-90 min. Aromatics are in a great place right now. A punch of violet is followed by black pepper and a whiff of bell pepper. Tannins are well integrated on palate...more violets, dark berry fruit, rocks. An obvious and excellent pairing with both duck and venison. Lacked a bit of length but otherwise delicious.

Concentrated lilac nose. Gorgeous sweet fruit. Amazing. Anyone who says st jo is all rustic needs to wake up and drink this.
