Here, Monsieur Victor, coming from the best barrel of 2014 Chetillons and a “perpetual reserve” from ‘88, ‘90, ‘93 and ‘96 harvests, shows impeccable purity, precision and vibrancy with layered aromatics of yellow fruit, white flowers and candied hazelnuts. The palate has killer intensity, bracing citrus inflicted acids and a persistent mouth coating finish. Excellent.
