Pop and pour, should have given this more air as it improved with each minute open. On the nose: pure wild strawberry, saffron, sweet melon, soft vanilla, and a touch of funk. On the palate: excellent acidity, more wild strawberry, sweet tomato paste, lovely light touch, with a surprising density, and a hi-toned cola and strawberry finish, rounded out by very finely grained tannin.
