A massive Barolo, full of punch. A great expression of the varietal. Super dry. Excellent body, although lighter than the North American palate expects. Excellent wine.

stop everything, corner yourself, and plunge into this rutabaga, flocked titanium frame, licorice root, tarmac, damp earth, distant diesel, stewed tomato, crushed petal, oleander?, cherry meat, candied gossamer violet caravan. this juice is a vampiric traffic cop with crawdad pincers, it halts and releases you in a screaming fluorescent red vest with unregulated grip. surrender or die.

In a wine like this personality and execution don't go hand in hand,so it's hard to rate. Although I can't deny its quality, I can't really say I'm in love with it either. It's right there,on the thin line between the heart and the mind.
