Fantastic- the bottle smells like the antique store in Pipestone MN- old wood floors, iron farm implements kept in a barn for decades with old grease, fertile earth and animal essence. Probably not a sommelier-certified description, but reflective of my nostalgia and love of this bottle.

A. Vanilla oak cherry and chocolate on the nose. Confirmed on the palate. Mild tannins. Very smooth. A delicious and beautiful wine. Love it. Very aromatic and elegant. 1996 vintage. July 2015. Maialino NYC
