A gift from a neighbor, this is a friendly and open red. Medium intensity nose shows red fruit (even a little strawberry), cigar box, and sandstone. Broad and flowing in the mouth. Tobacco leaf, plummy fruit, iodine. Ends on a lengthy savory note (the 20% Syrah signature?).
