Absolutely ridiculous QPR on this #brunellodimontalcino from Trader Joe’s. Overall impressions, so much verve on the fruit set off by classic earthy-softly-spicy #sangiovese character on the palate. Rich on mouthfeel framed with firm acidity and tannins. It’s so easy to pair this wine with beef, a nice Tuscan sausage pasta, mushroom ravioli - so many possibilities.

Excellent price quality ratio. Full body Brunello, paired it with lamb chops, asparagus and pepper sauce

Aromas of Cherries & forest. Red fruit, especially cherries, truffles, wood, some pine or evergreen. Good with a hearty beef dish, also went well with a veal sausage, aged cheddar and truffle infused cheese. Drank the 2027 in 2022, needed extensive decanting.
