Very yeasty, almost croissant like. It’s in the perfect plaice to drink but won’t last for another decade IMHO.

This wine was an experience. At first it seemed possibly past it’s prime with some notes of oxidation and nuttiness on top of ripe fruits and a zing of acidity. After 30-45 minutes of air it was simply stunning. The wine came into balance with deep fruit, gobs of citrus overtones, wonderful acidic lift and a finish for days. So many flavors all in one place.

Quite mature, and has developed into a rich and toasty Chardonnay. still hanging on to lots of bubbles.
