Marchigüe Syrah

A big and chewy Syrah ripe round tannins

Black cherry fruit accompanied by a heavy dose of grilled meat and gym socks. Inky color, strong legs, medium-bodied. Unfortunately, in keeping with the spirit of the Olympics, it didn't stick the landing -- the finish is short. Overall, fantastic but this is loaded with secondary flavors and has to be your thing.

Punching above its weight. Grilled meat and blueberry compote dominate the nose. Pine, earth, chocolate, tobacco, and blackberry flavors stick out. Finish is medium-long.

Lovely Syrah. Mineral and oil.

Chocolate and raspberry syrup on the nose, medium body, rougher mouthfeel

Pretty dark and rich Chilean Syrah. Chocolate raspberry with a hint of tar on the nose. Lighter than expected mouthfeel with a tannic finish.

Charcoal nose. Black currant. Loam. Cherry. Plum. Smoke. Number 2 pencil graphite and blackberry on the finish. #82 on WS Top 100 list 2015

Wine spectator top 100 2015. Nice fruit. Hint of spice.
