Whoa...this was a huge surprise. Served double blind. This wine almost came across as Riesling from the Nahe or even an Austrian Grüner Veltliner from a good producer. Pale color, slightly green tinged...steely looking. Lifted aromatics with all kinds of stone fruit, some green apple, some white flowers, some mangosteen and a little bit of a benzine note. On the palate it’s more fruit cocktail but not sweet...just a very open wine with a really nice spine of acid. Great finish. None of us thought Pinot Gris or New World and yet it was such a pleasant surprise when it was revealed. Definitely a wine if distinction. Keep an eye out for this bargain.

Jun 7th, 2020I knew it was good as soon as I smelled it. The taste is whole bodied, buttery smooth.
