Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Black cherry and leather. If I were drinking this blind, I would swear it was Côtes de Beaune. Very nicely done. Fruit restrained, acid awesome.

Couldn't resist a glass of this @PonziWines 2011#Oregon #PinotNoir for lunch. Quite Burgundian!

Peppermint and spice notes showing through on the nose that loosen and transform into clean fruit on the palate.

I am trying the Ponzi Vineyards Pinot. The nose is giving up hints of forest floor, strawberry, red raspberry, and smoke. The palate has nice black cherry, strawberry, and give a savory lingering finish. Very nice.

A bit of spice, some tar, chlorine and perfume. Nicely structured tannins and sharp fruit.
