Medium in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with raspberries, cherries, strawberries, cranberries, oak, vanilla, licorice, earth, spices and black pepper.
Medium plus on the finish with round tannins and spices.
This Sicilian red is nicely balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food.
Not bold, but rather airy, with a great mouth feel. Easy drinking but not simple at all.
I paired it with a burger and fries.
