
Better a couple years ago but interesting. Quite pine and menthol-y. Fruit is quite secondary but still great acid. Tannins are very smooth. Still some life especially at the cooler end of serving temp.

A bit oxidized, but still had some flavor showing through. Chocolate, caramel character, some dark fruit after breathing.

1992 is past its prime, sadly. But hints of goodness remain. The (faded) fruit is dried and dark--raisin, fig, good stuff if there was still enough of it to appreciate it.

Blackcurrant, peach, smells like sherry (very strong aromas). Not much structure but long finish (w/o body). Better vintage might have been superb.
