Nebbiolo might be the second best varietal in the world but it has to have provenance. The nose on this barbaresco normale is really quite lovely, you get your tar and roses, some dust with this maturity, but the palate is a bit flaccid, acidic and tannic without enough fruit and body to hold it up.
