Black licorice, black tea and soy sauce on the nose. Similar flavors on the tongue with this salty characteristic. Interlaced on the finish were some tannins like mocha dust. Seemed like it was at peak or past peak. Drink now.

Couldn't have been stored right. Somewhat maderized. Still, such a powerful wine that it was still compelling.

Fig, licorice, tar, balsamic, some funk. Opened up after a few hours.

A bit of funk still on this one. Still a bit young though, surprisingly. Lots of bright fruit on this one still. Nice wine though.

Slow to open up but worth the wait. Earthy, dry & slightly floral. Delicious recommendation from @Max Kogod

Tasty but it seemed a little evolved. Curious to see if these guys last as long as the wines from the 60s and 70s.
