Opened for Siri's bday week, and firing on all cylinders as I like to say. A touch of heat on the nose gives way to mellowed Cabernet aromas framed by fine-grained tannins and impressive length (that's what she said).

Beautiful ripeness and softness, yet not the complexity and depth of the best vintages..

At home with Ben & Bronwyn and beef Wellington (mushroom duxelle) with pepper sauce, grilled pork taries, and delicious chard salad. The 2000 is drinking very well now; I wouldn't hold it much longer. Mellowed tannins but excellent fruit.

Only bad thing about this wine is that I don't have more. Incredible balance and finish.

No question a good wine but one of the weakest vintages of Q creek I've had. Lighter and less complex. Flattened out slightly on the back end. The terroir comes through and there's no arguing Q creek really is wonderful even in lessor years.
