Now THIS is an example of the Duoro table wines I've been reading about. Full, balanced, and complex but with finesse and clarity, it had lots of cranberries, cherries, sweet spice, and after 30 minutes open, revealed a super refreshing minerally finish. More, please.

Served a little warm and the alcohol a little spiked, but has dense dark fruit character and tobacco leaf and dirt. Just a gritty but interesting wine.

Wine club chose Douro river Portugal wines this week. What a super collection of wines. This was a fav of the group. Good value. Well balanced and spicy good. Wished I had some lamb chops to serve up with it. I am a convert now!!

Classic vintage Douro. Great colour, lots of berries flavour. Big wine. Glad I saved this bottle for a few years. So happy right now.
