Surprising #portugal red blend with just over a third #touriga . Frankly I didn’t like it at first with that velvet fist punch of vanilla and licorice but it mellows out as you sip casually through the pours. I like it. Crisp and fine. I was expecting more secondary aromas and flavors for the price. This is still a baby, so I’m going to hold off judgement til later, but at the moment overpriced. Also 500m. Might be higher altitude than some parts of #Portugal, but it’s really not that high. La Mancha starts at 700m. And of course we all know about vineyards near the Andes. — 5 years ago
