Tripping. This is real wine. Red cranberry and red plum with eucalyptus and bay leaf on the nose. Fresh attack and pure crunchy red and black fruit on the palate. Delicious fine grain tannins and a real and not fake finish. Pure wine man. #douro #portuguesewine #portugal #crasto somewhat reminiscent of Tuscany but not so tannic. — 6 years ago

Vintage 2016 / made of #arinto and #chardonnay / from #portugal #penínsuladesetúbal / it’s a bit introvert with a shy mineral smell with hazelnut, but it’s charme is the vibrant taste with a tiny sweet touch. Definitely my favorite Spring white wine! — 8 years ago
Vintage 2007 - rich smell with autumn leaves, plums, tobacco, great balance #alentejano #portugal — 8 years ago
A nice red to go with dinner at the excellent Vila com Tradicao restaurant in Quarteira. Some tannins and a bit of oak. A touch of fruit, but not too much. For €15 it was an incredible deal. It went well with black pork steaks we accompanied it with. #portugesewine #portugal #portuguese #portugueseredblend — 2 years ago
Surprising #portugal red blend with just over a third #touriga . Frankly I didn’t like it at first with that velvet fist punch of vanilla and licorice but it mellows out as you sip casually through the pours. A bit of spice, zing, cola and other layers of flavor, precise acidity and light tannins on the finish. — 8 years ago

I like it. Crisp and fine. I was expecting more secondary aromas and flavors for the price. This is still a baby, so I’m going to hold off judgement til later, but at the moment overpriced. Also 500m. Might be higher altitude than some parts of #Portugal, but it’s really not that high. La Mancha starts at 700m. And of course we all know about vineyards near the Andes. — 5 years ago
Fairly interesting value #portugal #cabernetsauvignon - cherry, raisins, tartness, touch of cola but one-dimensional and unwieldy tannins. Still for the price, decent wine. #wsjwineclub — 7 years ago
Mostly Antão Vaz with Arinto & Alvarinho. Exotic spiced white, with quince, white fig & peach notes. Medium bodied spicy white with a crisp finish. Great value #whitewine from #alentejo #portugal — 9 years ago
