Usually well-rated #portuguese red blends are a sure fire hit for me, but not so much on this one. Enticing enough cassis aroma but it’s a bit syrupy in mouthfeel and too much fruit overriding the acidity and a lack of interesting tannin structure. — 5 years ago
Dark berry in the forefront on both aroma and taste. Nice depth of flavor, balanced acidity with a hint of vanilla, a touch of zippy spice and nearly tannin-free finish. It's a blend with the Tinta Roriz #port grape which brings the dark dried berry richness. There's quite a lot of interesting layers in this young #portuguese red. — 8 years ago
Delicious #portuguese #whitewine pairs well w seafood. #floral #crisp #fragrant but not sweet. Reminds me of a #viogner — 8 years ago

A nice red to go with dinner at the excellent Vila com Tradicao restaurant in Quarteira. Some tannins and a bit of oak. A touch of fruit, but not too much. For €15 it was an incredible deal. It went well with black pork steaks we accompanied it with. #portugesewine #portugal #portuguese #portugueseredblend — a month ago
