I’ve loved this Porto in the past, but this bottle seems to have lost a lot of its fruit, still pretty good aromatically, but finish is largely boozy with the spirit really pronounced, tasting more like a so-so barleywine. Good only.

This seems sweeter and younger than the excellent 1991 Vesuvio from last night, the spirit is really separated at this point (after an 8-hour decant), will need more aging, love the sweetness, though.
