May 8th, 2020Champagne more on the elegant if lighter style. Nice light citrusy notes, plenty of fruit - especially at mid-palate, where toasty flavors blend in nicely. Fruit falls off through the finish, but there's still a nice long aftertaste.

Nov 8th, 2014A nice medium lemon color in the glass with pretty fun effervescent mousse. The nose is uncomplicated and highly enjoyable with a ton of classic citrus characteristics going on. Classic and straightforward are going to be the key words for this entire adventure, just so you know. Lemon, limes, and nectarines seduce with fresh herbs. Light vanilla notes mix with bits of nuts and baked breads. Grapefruit and pears take you on home.
This is a fun bottle. It’s not too challenging or complex, but it is a good, quality champagne from a well established house. 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay from Chouilly with medium acidity at 7 g/l and innately classic structure. The palate is smooth and delicious with an abundance of stone fruit and citrus melodies. Well balanced throughout, she may not hit all the high notes but she can definitely carry a nice tune.
