Not as aromatic as I would like, this wine has vague hints peach and lemon in the nose. Very simplistic palate with a crispy citrus finish. Very forgettable and not a great example of Albariño.

Today is National Albariño day, so I had to open one and sit by the pool.

Deep gold in color with a green hue.

Clean nose of lemons, red apples, melons, almonds, vegetables, herbs, grass, spices and white pepper.

Medium bodied and crisp, with high acidity.

Bone dry on the palate with limes, green apples, grapefruits, herbs, almonds and butter.

Short finish with herbs and bitter almonds.

This Albarino is not good by itself, but rather better when accompanied with food. Too tart and bitter for my taste. I paired it with tuna ceviche and soft cheeses. ( the pool helped too)

12.5% alcohol by volume.

Beautiful Golden in color.

Light on the nose with limes, almonds, grapefruits, citrus, minerals, salt and metals.

Light to medium bodied, and crisp, with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with limes, green apples, minerals, grapefruits, and light vanilla.

Tart finish with limes, grapefruits and bitter almonds.

This Albariño is too bitter for my taste, but a good food wine. Too Simple and unattractive by itself. Not necessarily a good example of Spanish Albariño.

I paired it with Spanish tapas.

Great after work wine. Good minerality and medium acid. Chalky notes. Not quite as heavy on the palate as some Albariño's. Great inexpensive white.
