A lot going on. Red fruit and tannic. Mineral. Maybe it’s just me, but Napa and Sonoma vintage 18 wines (a great vintage) are throwing lots of tannins, across the board. A great wine that needs 4-6yr to resolve itself.

Beautiful nose of Kirsch; loaded with sweet, dark fruit — cherry herring stands out — and minerality with mild acidity. Not as deep and complex as some vintages, lacking the garrigue and pepper elements. Still, a very good Syrah.

This has a beautiful nose, very full and complete. Little duller on the palate with very high acid. But hey, still very good juice.
