I love it. #carignan #carignane #zinfandel #petitesyrah #syrah #alicantebouschet #monastrell #garnachatintorera #mourvedre #barbera #sonoma #sonomacounty it has this complexity and balance due to the blend that intrigues me and keeps me coming back for more. #ravenswood also incredibly fresh for 2014 vintage. Can age.

Decant for at least 1.5 hrs to lessen tartness and breath a little. Aroma: blackberry, cerise and a bit of sweet oak. Nice body. Tastes strong of lovely dark red fruits, tobacco, leather, vanilla but sadly doesn't stay around to long to make many tasty friends. Decent red blend for around $10, but not exactly rocking my world.

Medium body, red fruit, sage, vanilla. Great with pork tenderloin tonight. Super good value for $9 on sale at Costco.

Worth having again. Slightly bitter but still pleasant. Great to include in a tasting lineup.

Tasty. But drink right away. Doesn’t keep. Rich and plummy.

A little on the tannin side but very good. The bouquet and aroma are different than many wi es.

Taste the alcohol too much. Needs more subtlety.
