Red and black berry fruits, with vanilla, spice, autumn leaves, and hints of tobacco. Soft acidity, gravelly minerals, and velvety tannins balance it all out. This is a really nice Meritage style blend that reminds me of cab-rich clarets and good California and Chilean blends. Ravines has a nice tasting room, and it's close to the Thruway so it's a good first stop it you're touring the region. The staff know the region as well as their own products so you can get good advice.

Surprisingly balanced for NY Bordeaux blend. Still a bit thin, but trending in the right direction

Fruity. A lot of acid. Not like most whites.
