Raymond Vineyard & Cellar
Reserve Selection Napa Valley Chardonnay
Sunday afternoon's wine is the 2013 Raymond Reserve Selection Napa Valley Chardonnay.
On the nise there is good notes of lemon, bruised pear, guava, banana, apple, vanilla, toasted oak and minerals.
On the palate I am able to get notes of lemon, white peach, passionfruit, banana, vanilla, light butter, a bit of oak and minerality.
This wine is medium bodied with a smooth velvety mouth feel and medium + acidity that moves right into a long citrus mineral driven finish. I hope everyone is well and staying safe? Have a great week ahead looking forward to a wonderful Christmas as well we can. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂

Good chard at affordable price (23.00) nice balance of butter and oak. Very drinkable.

Mar 23rd, 2015Super tasty, well-balanced Napa Chardonnay that is a crowd pleaser. Lightly toasty with slightly tropical fruit, refreshing acidity & creamy texture.

Jan 17th, 2015Quite a lot going on but falling squarely in the prototype of Napa Chard: oaky, buttery, distinct tropical along with citrus (big lemon), butterscotch & musk. Not overly concentrated or extracted, medium body w/solid acidic structure - decent finish with oak dominating fruit.

Nov 22nd, 2015Buttery, oaked nose. Smooth, buttery flavor with grassy notes. Low acidity. Sweet finish. This is a very nice Chardonnay, and the hints of green in the taste are a nice surprise.

Jun 22nd, 2015Nice Chardonnay on the lower end for Chardonnay in the malolactic buttery flavors. Pairs well with grilled chicken or pasta with white sauce. Won't overpower the food.

Jun 18th, 2015Begins with creamy honeysuckle and orange blossom and finishes with a berry lemon hinted sharpness. Super smooth and perfect with food or otherwise and ideal for those who prefer less oak.
