Ruby red with garnet hues. Cherry, sweet spices, forest floor and mushrooms on the nose. Malolactic fermentation using whole bunches? Medium body, medium -tannin, and medium acidity. Medium finish, acceptable quality to price ratio.

A pleasant enough wine to compliment a staggering good boeuf bourguignon. At $30, however, I was hoping for a more lasting impression. C'est la vie.

What It lacks in concentration and complexity it makes up for in balanced finesse, and a lingering mineral finish. Poundable.
