Spätburgunder Rose Trocken

Older vintage gave the wine this brine-y quality. Can't decide if I like that or not. Effortless and seamless in texture. Almost a tough Alsace quality.

Never out of season!

Well, I can actually say that this is the first Rose' from Germany I have ever had and it is a descent wine. The nose has a good funk that I like with ripe strawberry and a bubble gum not that is interesting. On the palate the strawberry continues through with some sour cherries and minerality. The only draw back is it seems a bit on the watery side. A wine that goes down very easy with the alcohol that is 12.5%. I bought this at $15.99.

Totally dry, surprisingly vinous, very Pinot

Really like this Rose. Nice balance of fruit and mineral. Beautiful color.

Zingy strawberry. Great acid balance with a mineral finish.
