Les Agathes Syrah

Dark and murky ruby red color with a few purple highlights. Aromas of red and black berry/cherry fruit, violets and wet soil, along with a gamey note. Flavors of red and black cherries, blackberries, black pepper and roasted meat. Long and lingering very savory finish and crisp acidity. Beautiful balance and texture. Silky fine grained tannins. Enjoyed at the Washington Inn, Cape May, NJ.
