Mr Spittoon makes an excellent spag bol. It might not be ‘traditional’ however it’s jammed packed with deliciousness with all your favourite ingredients + things like black olives and mushrooms 😋
I love red wine with my spaghetti 🍝 and if I can get my hands on an Italian 🇮🇹 red wine, even better!
I was ever so kindly sent this Renzo Marinai 2013 Chianti Classico Riserva Biologico from the wonderful team at Romulus Wine Selectors here in VIC (thank you!!).
The Romulus team are specialists in importing Italian wine to Australia and have a pretty darn delicious range on their website.
We found this Chianti and red brick brown 🧱 colour in the glass. Definitely showing it’s age a bit, but in a good way 😉 It’s wonderfully aromatic with cherries, spice, sweet oak and a hint of tobacco. On the mouth it’s deliciously smooth with a good tannic structure and long finish. Yum!
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
