Pale, medium ruby in color; on the nose,  it's clean with medium intensity primary and secondary aromas of plum, cherries, and cedar; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of blackberries, red currants, and clay pots with a long finish. This wine is complex, and intense, but the tannins and alcohol are a little out of balance with the acidity and fruit. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie didn't like it.
