Very enjoyable Cabernet Franc with ripe fruit - completely lacking the herbaceous notes sometime present with this varietal. Rich flavors and elegant nose - 2009 seems to be an ideal year for Loire Cabernet Franc — 3 months ago
Delightfully light and a bit funky; apricot and light minerality at play. Very drinkable and would be a hit at a dinner party. — 4 months ago
Dark ruby/ inky in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose with black currants, blackberries, black plums, stewed cherries, indian spices, cedar, light vanilla, licorice, eucalyptus, black tea, tobacco leaf and light lavender.
Full-bodied and elegant, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with black currants, cooked cherries, plums, light cedar, herbs, dark coffee, light earth, spices, tobacco leaf, peppercorn, dark chocolates, licorice and light mint.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Rich and fruit forward. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Spicy and entertaining. Complex and interesting.
Needs 2 hours in the decanter to open up properly.
This 9-year-old Napa Cabernet is showing a beautiful and complex nose at this point.
I had this vintage a year ago, and it is already drinking better. Getting close to its peak, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.
A great sipping wine, that will also pair nicely with a big piece of steak.
A blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Petit Verdot. Aged in (60% new) French oak barrels for 24 months.
14.6% alcohol by volume.
93 points.

Our New Year’s Eve wine is 2005 Kapcsandy Family Winery Estate Cuvée State Lane Vineyard. Still too early to open this? After four hours, the wine finally showed us who she was. Elegant, yet still restrained. We also opened 1996 Duckhorn Vineyards Napa Valley Merlot. Still drinkable. You can still enjoy the history. Bye bye 2025.
大晦日最後のワインは、2005 Kapcsandy Family Winery Estate Cuvée State Lane Vineyard。 Bye Bye 2025! — 6 days ago

Inky in color with a short purple rim.
Strong nose and full bodied with medium minus acidity.
Showing blackberries, sweet plums, cooked cherries, chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, licorice, light cedar, vanilla and spices.
This 9 year old Petite Sirah from California is still drinking nicely and good right out of the bottle.
Extracted and very fruity, with some RS on the palate. In your face kind of wine.
Showing nice complexity at this point. Rich with lots of chocolate notes.
A nice sipping wine and good for parties.
14.6% alcohol by volume.

I love this wine; I put it up against any of my Napa faves. The cork on this bottle was dried out, but we survived. Great, sublime purple fruit. It's blueberry pie, plum and blackberry, with lively tannins. Well balanced and will probably peak in 3 years. Will see if I have the patience to wait on my last bottle.
Listening to Fountains of Wayne and reminiscing about the amazing performance they put on last night 😍 — 6 months ago

Nice, though not really especially recognizable as Musar. Perhaps that will come with some more age, this was an early try. Would have guessed Nebbiolo blind. On day 2 the more intense herbal / spice / tannic structure comes through more which points in a different direction. Good pairing with a chicken, caramelized onion, and apricot “tachin” on New Year’s Eve. — 3 days ago
