A little young for my taste, but shows good promise. Very fruity, but could probably use a little mellowing time. Which is why I have a second bottle in the garage!

If you only want a zinfandel because you want a big, robust, jammy, alcohol heavy wine, this isn't for you. It does have all those hallmarks, but in a more subdued style that melds all those different types of flavors in a beautiful way. The jammyness has a pillowy quality; the alcohol is hot but settles down nicely... it's just a quality zinfandel.

Crushed pomegranate seeds and rich tart currant jam. A bit of citrus pith teemed up with some gorgeous mouthwatering acids. Blueberries and roast beef. Not bad, not bad at all.
