Lytton Estate Dry Creek Valley Syrah Viognier

This was a very good Syrah! I opened it a little prematurely I believe. Would have been better in about 5 years. If you purchase this wine, or have it in your cellar, don’t open it yet!

Ruby fruity big #syrah paired with #marcellahazan bolognese

Fruit forward, easy drinking and delicious, completely age-able but its so good now. Grab some for now, and some for later.

I tasty wine for sure and not quite as complex as the 2013. Tastes awfully sweet and heavily oaked next to a traditional Cote Rotie of the same vintage.
