@Austin Hohnke said it well. It’s good. Still too oaky for us, but a good vintage. Total Coppertone.

A Gorgeous eucalyptus nose appears and holds steady

Heavy bodied, wild blackberry, fog, Blueberry scone. Tarragon acidity trickles the tongue, with a well integrated cedar tannin to hug all the flavors as a blanket does.

Ridge has always been a solid producer.

Best “Three Valleys” vintage in years. Blackberries and red currant with cocoa nibs, great freshness. Feels balanced, even at 14.5%

Phenomenal producer - great table wine! Zin does not have to be a heavy alcohol pour, it can be a balanced compliment!

Plum, fig, blueberry, vanilla, white pepper, and light herbs. Smooth, though a bit flat, palate with nicely integrated tannins.

This entry level blend from Ridge is delicious, but a bit too oaky.

Deep purple color. On the nose it’s big on oak, vanilla as well, and some dark and red fruits, slight hints of cocoa and coffee also. The mouthfeel is complex with plum, raspberry, more vanilla, and slightly herbaceous. Silky start, medium acidity, medium plus body, medium plus alcohol, well integrated tannings and a satisfying finish. A great everyday wine, or great wine for that matter.

Raspberry, cherry, spice, and oak. Lively acidity and grippy, but not overwhelming tannins. An elegant wine, but with a bit of a wild side. Wonderful with a ribeye steak for dinner. Purchased at Suburban Wines in Yorktown Heights, NY.
