Robert Mondavi Winery
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Exceptional bottle. I was totally surprised by this intro level Cab 😮 bell pepper, asparagus, wet leaves and forest floor. Fruits start to fade away but still holding together. Savory goodness. Not too much depth but this was hard to beat <$20 range. Perfect time to drink this 2010. 14.5% alc

Jul 3rd, 2017My everyday drinker. Got one of the last cases from the winery and letting it sit for seven years did the job. It drinks like a $50 bottle.

Jun 11th, 2014Decent cherry but a little green pepper. Makes me think this vintage was perhaps a little under ripe. Not bad, but not a favorite at $30

Jan 4th, 2014Dark, ripe, with spice and toast, and a dry and structured finish. Like Malbec without the flab; not that interesting. Will take Jack London cab any day over this.... Maybe it's time to quit trying new things.

Mar 26th, 2013Give any hardworking vintners wine 3-5 years and it usually tastes good. This house wine from Mondavi with 7 years on it tastes wonderful. Additionally, purchasing winery direct is also a no brainer. Does anyone else agree? I hope to hear from Mr. Galoni on this topic. @Warren Sapp @Paul T @Jim Trobaugh @Jody Scharf @Jacqueline @jesus g @Vanessa D @Martin G Rivard @Connor McMahon @Ian Blackburn @Bill Bender @Eric LaMasters @TheSkip @Kimberly Anderson @Terri Walker @Eric S @Antonio Galloni

Apr 2nd, 2017Wasn't expecting much, but just proves you don't mess with Mondavi! Deep flavors of cherry and blackberry with a very smooth finish that just coats the palate. I'm in awe right now, well done Robert!
