Dug deep in the cellar to find this one. Letting it age for 5 years, really improved the quality of this Mike Smith product. It was in 2013 (the 2011 vintages) that we discovered his Myriad and Quivet labels and have never been disappointed with his output. While 2011 wasn’t a great year overall for the industry, this was still high class, but no comparison to his 2013-2015 vintages. — 6 years ago

I have an affinity to Mike Smith wines. Let this baby breathe for a couple hours and it opens up well. Prime for drinking now — bold, dense fruit flavor that you’d come to expect from a Napa cab powerhouse wine maker. Full body and long peppery finish. Still a winner in my book. — 6 years ago
Always a fan favorite with my family and friends, the K.R. Cab did not disappoint. 2013 was another great vintage produced by Mike Smith. Big & bold! Thanks Mike! — 7 years ago
Wow! What a perfect red blend. Very strong fruit flavor due to the 80% cab blend, but a nice medium body and finish due to the 20% cut of savgiovese. The only shame is that this is only available to those in the Peju wine club...good thing I have friends that are in it! — 6 years ago
Mike Smith does it again. The 2013 is a solid vintage, but let this baby breathe to fully appreciate it. A couple hour decant and the flavors even out so that it’s not so dense and strong. Prime for drinking now or in the next year or so. A solid wine from an award winning wine maker. — 7 years ago
