Overrated. I’ll go as far as to say all Napa wine is overpriced these days.
Like… it’s good. But really, I can buy a better Italian wine for half the price.
These days, the best American wine is coming from Oregon, not California. Don’t @ me.

Nice fruit, acidity balance. Fruit less prominent than previous rating. Nice long finish. Cherry, pencil lead, tar, expresso, cocoa, red raspberries, pine trees, and maple syrup. Exceeds previous rating! One hour decant.

Mondavi is an Icon and I love his wines! I am getting eucalyptus, black licorice, dark chocolate, dark brambly fruit, macerated cherry, vanilla and cedar! Pretty great on PnP..when your brain is screaming "you will be sorry" at you!

A lot of pepper, dried cherries and a little astringent. Good for a $39 bottle of wine.
