Still has nice tart blackberries and great tannin structure 16 years on.

Perfect with a grass fed bone in rib eye
On the tail end might be best to drink with in the next few years don't think it will be better

Pretty awesome wine, made while Tim Mondavi was still at the helm, has the power and finesse that only exists in classic Napa, green characters, red fruits, black fruits, vanilla oak, tannin, body, length, acid, the whole package.

2000, finally broke into the case. Cork was extra dry and disintegrate. Coffee filtered and worked ok.

For an “off” year impressive depth and great fruit for a 19 year old wine. Testimony to the reason To-Kalon is considered one of the great Napa vineyards

2000. Still lovely after 16 years. Deep cherry, black pepper and soft tannins.

Still very youthful for such a dicey vintage, this wine has enough stuffing to last another dozen years...
