Pinot from Carneros comes in thin, with diminished fruit and over-oaked compared with Willamette Valley Pinot. This one is no exception. “Napa” and “Pinot Noir” shouldn’t exist on the same label.

Minimal sweetness. Nice tannins. Some cool green apple / cherry vibes. Touch of a nutmeg/ cinnamon finish.

Dec 21st, 2022Robert Sinskey Vineyards Los Carneros Pinot Noir 2015: Medium-bodied. Fine soft tannins. Great impeccable balance. Red fruit dominate, spice, earth & oak. Long smooth finish. Small production, organic grapes, big bright taste. This is a wine I could drink all day! For me, it was the perfect companion for a quiet Sunday evening. Bummer it was only a 375ml bottle but rest assured, I will be adding a few more bottles to my collection. Great week to all! Cheers🍷
