Black cherries and stewed red fruit on the nose, slight hint of toast and menthol - quite exciting. Totally different on the palate. Elderberries, very fruit forward, almost off dry! Green flavours too. Potentially underripe or some other structural weakness from the winemaking. None of the tannic structure you might expect from syrah.

Jul 28th, 2018Very good Tuscan blend. Supple red deep red full bodied with full burst of fruit. Enjoyed it dinning outdoors at Lucia in Seattle. Goes great with my fettuccine prosciutto. Yummy.

Jul 2nd, 2017This one held its own for four days, giving different views each visit. Here on day four the nose is a sweet mix of raisin, plum, woody oak and subtle earth. The palette is quite fruity, but quickly balanced with vanilla oak notes and soft earth. For the price this Super Tuscan is a great buy.

Feb 27th, 2017An interesting blend. 60/40. Good fruit, yet closes with enough tannin to balance the sugar. First bottle before the meal, but could pair with most anything as a traditional red.
